The castle of Koroni
The castle of Koroni
along with the castle of Methoni are the finest examples of the Venetian
fortress architecture. The castle of Koroni dominates Akritas cape, on the
southern edge of the Messinian Gulf, in Peloponnese. It was built by the
Venetians in the 13th century and reconstructed by the Ottomans in the 16th. It
is amongst the few of its kind to encompass houses and churches. It is the only
one which is still inhabited nowadays.

What a view and what a click. Great work. The picture itself is show beautiful and in reality it would be much more refreshing site to visit.
